WSET Level 1 Award in Wines 

A one day introductory course designed for anyone working within the hospitality industry or those who are wine curious. No previous wine knowledge needed.

Gain a good introduction to grape varieties, some of the best known wines in the world, together with food pairing, wine service & storage and social responsibility.  Courses are available in Sutton Coldfield.  We are also able to provide onsite training for private groups and corporate training.

WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits 

A 3 day or 8 week (evenings) course designed for both industry professionals and wine enthusiasts. No previous wine knowledge needed and it is NOT necessary to hold the Level 1 certificate.

The Level 2 course is a comprehensive introduction to the world of wines.  Delivered in 11 modules, this intensive course provides broad knowledge of the major wine regions of the world, how the grape varieties are cultivated and wines are made, together with other aspects of wine service, pairing with food and social responsibility.  Studying with The Wine Wise Company will also give you access to our exclusive online support course providing additional learning resources including practice questions.

WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits Online Distance Learning Course

Our unique and highly successful online Level 2 course is a comprehensive course offering both text and video tutorials, quizzes & mock assessments. Study at your own pace and sit the exam at a date and time to suit you. Ideal for those who are unable to attend classroom based courses or wish to study from home.  

WSET Level 3 Award in Wines

Designed for Industry Professionals and Individuals wanting to progress their wine studies. WSET Level 2 is a pre-requisite for this course.

The Level 3 certificate is suitable for anyone wishing to gain in-depth knowledge of wines and spirits and builds upon the knowledge gained at Level 2. Students will acquire a thorough understanding of the factors influencing the style, quality and price of wines from key wine producing regions of the world. Students will also develop analytical tasting skills through a series of tutored tastings to support your theory sessions.  As a Wine Wise student, you will also benefit from access to our exclusive on-line study support area giving exam practice and alternative learning resources.

WSET Level 1 Certificate in Spirits

An introduction to the diverse range of spirits available across the globe.  This course introduces the concepts of distillation together with a study of each major spirit category and it's production methods.  The syllabus also covers cocktail making, storage and service of spirits and social responsibility of alcohol.
