Join us for this indepth study of the wines of the world. The course is challenging and requires a commitment of 54 hours studytime in addition to the classroom course.
The syllabus covers wines from the leading wine regions of the world, together with a detailed understanding of grape growing and wine making. The course is diverse, exciting and dynamic giving the student a comprehensive understanding of the world of wine.
This 10 week course is an intensive method of study. The Course Schedule is as follows:

Module 2 - The Natural Factors and Human Influences in the Vineyard
Module 3 - The Human Factors in the Winery that Influence Style, Quality and Price
Module 4 - White Wines of Burgundy, The Loire Valley, Bordeaux & Alsace
Module 5 - Red and Rose Wines of Burgundy, The Loire Valley, Bordeaux & SW France
Module 6 - Wines of the Rhone Valley, Southern France and Provence
Module 7 - Wines of Spain
Module 8 - Wines of Italy
Module 9 - Wines of other Major European Regions
Module 10 - New World Wines - The Americas
Module 11 - New World Wines - Tri Nations (South Africa, Australia & New Zealand)
Module 12 - Sparkling Wines
Module 13 - Fortified Wines
