WSET Level 2 in Wines Distance Learning (Online) Course

Our exclusive self paced online course allows you to study around your own schedule and is an ideal course for anyone preferring a more flexible approach to studying for this qualification.

You will have access to our exclusive online course which contains practice questions, tutorials, fact sheets and recommended wines to sample together with tutor support when required.  You are also invited to join in our virtual tasting and theory sessions. 

Exams can be sat Online or at an Exam Venue.  See further details below.

 

How Does It Work?

The process is simple.  Get in touch to request a booking form.  Once your booking has been processed, you will receive access to the online course which provides many different resources to help you work through the syllabus.  You will also be sent the WSET studypack which accompanies the course.  You then work at your own pace and follow the course modules, making use of the extensive practice questions in each module and in the Mock Assessment section.  Support is available via email, telephone or videolink at a mutally agreeable time.

The information provided in the WSET studypack and the online course provides you with all the information you need in order to pass the exams at the end of the course.  You will have full access to the materials for 12 months from the date you register. 

Once you feel ready to take the exam, get in touch with us to arrange a time and date to sit the exam.  Exams can be sat online or at one of our Exam Centres.  Online exams can be taken at a date and time to suit you.  Alternatively you can choose to sit your exam 'in person' at one of our Exam Centres  Please refer to the Exam Schedule for dates and venues.

Results are issued via email 3-4 weeks after sitting the exam, with certificates following shortly afterwards.

For group bookings it is possible to arrange for examinations to be held at alternative venues.


Virtual Tutorial Sessions

You are invited to join our virtual tasting and theory tutorial sessions held throughout each month.  

Virtual Tasting Sessions 

Held on alternate Thursdays at 6.30pm (UK time).  Each session follow a theme - just bring a bottle and join the conversation! 

Virtual Theory Sessions 

Held once a month on Saturday mornings at 10.30am.  We focus on wine growing regions / styles in detail.  Some of the content may be beyond the Level 2 syllabus but as a Wine Wise student, you are very welcome to attend.

Exam Process

The exam consists of 1 paper of 30 multiple choice paper to be completed in 45 minutes.   Results are usually issued 3-4 weeks after the exam date.

Exams can be sat online or in person at one of our exam centres.  

Online exams can be sat at a date and time to suit you (subject to certain restrictions around UK/US public holidays).  You will  need to have access to a webcam enabled laptop/pc plus an additional mobile device to which you will need to download an app.  Further details will be provided on booking.  

Alternatively, it is possible to sit your exam 'in person' at one of our Exam Centres.  These are located in :-
