Gourmet Wine Tasting Dinner featuring a choice of wine regions
This enjoyable and entertaining event can focus on any wine region in the world. Some suggested regions are Burgundy or the Languedoc in France, Piedmont or Tuscany in Italy and Rioja or Rias Baixas in Spain. Through tasting the wines and food from the chosen region we will take your guests on an exploration of the chosen country.
Choice of venue... we can arrange the entire event or we can work with your preferred restaurant or event organiser.
Wine Tasting... following a brief presentation of the country and regions your guests are invited to take part in a tutored wine tasting – an informal affair that is great fun but also informative and useful for selecting, assessing and enjoying wine.
Food & Wine Matching... matching wine with food is quite an art and we will give some insights and helpful hints and tips into how to do it.
Dinner is served... with each course your guests will be presented with 3 different wines from the chosen region. They will be able to try each one with the dish and decide which they think is the best match. This approach to food and wine provides an enjoyable introduction to different wines whilst sampling them the way they were intended to be enjoyed – with the food of the region.
Guest numbers... small parties of between 15 and 25 people are joined by one of our wine experts who will entertain them for the evening. For larger parties we will provide a main presenter who will be accompanied by other wine experts to ensure your guests are entertained and guided through the tastings.
Added entertainment... to add an extra slice of entertainment we can arrange incognito comedy or singing waiters to add a flourish to the evening.
