Languedoc Vineyard Tour & Harvest Day
Friday to Monday
October 8th – 11th 2010
Spend a long weekend in the Languedoc-Roussillon and experience firsthand how to make wine.
This fabulous wine tour is based in the beautiful medieval village of Caunes-Minervois in the heart of the Minervois vineyard region and close to Carcassonne. Each day you will visit a different wine region and experience the local wines and food.
During the long weekend you will visit the Corbières where we will visit the village of Lagrasse, one of the prettiest villages in France. We visit 2 excellent wine producers, taste a range of honey produced from across the region and visit a goat farm to taste the chèvre. You will also spend a day experiencing the harvest where you will help to pick the grapes and make the wines. On Sunday we visit the wonderful Sunday market at St Chinian, followed by a tasting at one of the organic producers in the region.
This is a fully exclusive weekend, all you need to do is arrange your flights to Carcassonne airport with Ryanair who fly here from East Midlands, Stansted, Liverpool and other regional UK airports.
The price of this weekend is £495 per person based on 2 people sharing a double room. The price includes:
