Food & Wine Matching Course
This half day course will introduce you to the interesting art of food & wine matching. During the course we will introduce you to wine tasting and show you how to taste and assess wines. We will also look at different styles of wines and as this course is taking place in the Languedoc we will be using the wonderful selection available to us here.
Introduction to wine tasting - learn how to taste and assess wines
Wine styles - styles of wines and an overview of the Languedoc wines
Storage and service of wine – What temperature should your wines be stored and served at?
Food & Wine matching - learn about some of the classic food and wine combinations and why they work. You will be given 3 simple rules to follow for successful food and wine matching.
During the course we will taste 8 wines and 8 food samples to demonstrate the art of food and wine matching.
