Birmingham Wine Tastings & Courses
We hold regular wine tastings on the 3rd Thursday of each month at The Crown on Corporation Street in central Birmingham, close to New Street and Snow Hill Stations. 
The tastings are fun, relaxed and include tapas or canapes and provide you with a fun way to learn more about wine.

Sweet Wines: Thursday 18th September 2008
Commencing at 7.30pm.
Choosing the wines from this tasting will be difficult as there are so many fabulous wines to choose from. Naturally I will include Sauternes and Tokaji and the course would not be complete without Quart de Chaume and Vin Santo. In all we will taste 6 sumptuous wines.

Italian Wines: Thursday 16th October 2008
Commencing at 7.30pm.
This two hour tasting provides an overview of this prolific wine producing country. We will take a journey from North to South stopping off on the way to discuss to most famous areas and taste 8 wines including Barolo, Gavi, Amarone Chianti and some less well known ones.
Price: £30 per person, including a delicious Italian suppper

Australian Wines: Thursday 20th November 2008
Commencing at 7.30pm.
We will taste 8 wines from 4 of the most important areas of Australia, including Chardonnay from Western Australia, Riesling from South Australia, Cabernet Sauvignon from Victoria and Semillon from New South Wales. We will include Sweet and Sparkling wines and will demonstrate the diverse and exciting range of wines available from down under.

Christmas Wine and Dine Event: Friday 12th December 2008
The Restaurant - Aston Business School
After the fantastic success of lasts years Christmas Wine and Dine event we are please to announce that we will be holding this event again. The food was so suberb and the venue was excellent that we have chosen to hold it again at Aston Business park once again! We will be asking chefs to design a menu and we will choose 12 superb wines to accompany it - 3 with each course.
The price is £70 per person and £60 per person when booking a table of 10.
