We have a great selection of wine courses and events this autumn and winter taking place at Underwoods Wine Warhouse in Warwick.
For those of you who have enjoyed Wendy's courses in the past you will be pleased to hear that she will be spending the winter in the UK running courses and can also organise food & Wine parties for you.
WSET Advanced Certificate - 5 day courses commences October 23rd
A 5 day course taking place across 5 consecutive Saturdays. The Advanced Certificate Course provides an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of wines and spirits and is open to students who hold the WSET Intermediate Level 2 certificate. The course covers wines and spirits of the world in considerable depth and is taught over a period of five consecutive Saturdays however it is essential that students enrol at least 3 weeks prior to the course in order to commence the 16 hours pre-course study recommended by ourselves. During the 5-week course delegates will need to set aside a further 10 hours home study each week. Unusual Down Under - Saturday Afternoon October 27th
Our Unusual Down Under tasting will introduce you to some of the more unusual styles of wine that our Antipodean friends have to offer. This 2 hour course will demonstrate that there is now a huge range of wines available which are both fascinating and delicious and which will refresh your whole outlook of wines from Down Under.£30 per person BOOK NOW
Wine of the Languedoc-Roussillon - Thursday Evening November 25th
The Languedoc-Roussillon is possibly one of the most exciting wine regions in France and as many of you know it is where Wendy spends her summers running vineyard tours. During this 2 hour course she will introduce you to soem of the wonderful wines fromthis region including spartkling, whites, red, rose and fortified. £30 per person BOOK NOW
Christmas Food & Wine Matching - Saturday Afternoon December 12th 
This course will provide you with some great ideas for successfully choosing wines to enhance all your meals over the festive period. From choosing a wine for a traditional Christmas lunch to what do you drink with Christmas pudding? Which wine to pair with goat’s cheese, cheddar, stilton or Roquefort and which style of Sherry and Port to buy? WSET Intermediate Certificate - 3 day course - 3 consecutive saturdays commencing January 15th
The Intermediate Course is an introductory level qualification intended for those who would like to know more about the absorbing business of wines and spirits, whether you require a basic level of product knowledge to underpin job skills and competencies, or just love to share in the glories of wine as part of your life. £350 per person. Wine Appreciation Course - 3 day course - 3 consecutive Saturdays commencing January 15th
