Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET®) Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits
5-Day Intensive Course
The Advanced Course provides an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of wines and spirits and is open to students who hold the WSET Intermediate Level 2 certificate. The course covers wines and spirits of the world in considerable depth and is taught over a period of five consecutive Saturdays however it is essential that students enrol at least 3 weeks prior to the course in order to commence the 16 hours pre-course study recommended by ourselves. During the 5-week course delegates will need to set aside a further 10 hours home study each week. The official WSET study guides and the ‘Test Your Advanced Knowledge’ area of our web site facilitate this study.
The 2-hour examination is divided into 2 parts; a theory examination of 50 multiple-choice questions and four short answer questions and a tasting examination consisting of a blind tasting of one wine. The qualification has full accreditation from the UK Governments Qualifications & Curriculum Authority as a level 3 Vocational Qualification. The Advanced Certificate is a pre-requisite for students wishing to progress to the Diploma course.

The course is available at our Education Centre in Leicester. The cost of this course is £595.00 per delegate (not subject to VAT) and is fully inclusive of the course materials, sample wines, examination fee and certification.
