Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET®) Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits
5-Day Intensive Course

The Advanced Course provides an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of wines and spirits and is open to students who hold the WSET Intermediate Level 2 certificate. The course covers wines and spirits of the world in considerable depth and is taught over a period of five days however it is essential that students enrol at least 6 weeks prior to the course in order to commence the 16 hours pre-course study recommended by ourselves. The official WSET study guides and the ‘Test Your Advanced Knowledge’ area of our web site facilitate this study.
The 2-hour examination is divided into 2 parts; a theory examination of 50 multiple-choice questions and four short answer questions and a tasting examination consisting of a blind tasting of two wines. The qualification has full accreditation from the UK Governments Qualifications & Curriculum Authority as a level 3 Vocational Qualification.
